Why don't you define what this curriculum is? What does it tell teachers to do? KEVIN JENNINGS, CO-FOUNDER, GLSEN: Well, Bill, as a former history teacher yourself, you know that history teachers in high school often address current events as part of their curriculum, and our curriculum is designed to give them a fair and balanced set of resources concerning gay marriage, everything from position papers provided by the Catholic Church to position papers by the people who argue... O'REILLY: So you give them both sides in this? JENNINGS: Absolutely. O'REILLY: All right. JENNINGS: I think that it's not a teacher's job to say that one answer in this is right or wrong. It's a teacher's job to present both sides of the debate so that students understand when something's being talked about by the president, it's on the front page of the paper, it's on THE O'REILLY FACTOR, that they understand why this is an issue and what the divergent points of view are and why people feel so strongly about it.
